Recently, Council and Chamber met with businesses based along Kenepuru Drive. The meeting covered several major concerns in this area which included flooding, traffic build-up caused at peak hours. In addition, health and safety concerns were raised by traffic coming in and out of businesses located in Kenepuru Drive.
Porirua City Council has collated all information from this workshop and will confirm a follow-up meeting in the next fortnight.
Meantime a traffic count for the area will start next week.
