Can you tell us the story behind the founding of your business?

Keith has been in the commercial moving business since ‘Adam was a cowboy’. After a couple of years working in different industries, Keith decided that he would be a stay at home parent to his and Rosie’s 4 children, while Rosie focused on her career in technology. No sooner had this decision been made,  Keith identified an “opportunity” to get back into what he loved. He promised that this work would fit around the children. Fast forward a year, the team and workload had grown to too much for one person to manage and Rosie decided to join forces with Keith at Relocate.

What sets your business apart from others in the community?

We are a family run and owned, local business who focuses on excellent customer service. Our team is highly experienced in the commercial space and we provide a full, turnkey service across moving, freight, office furniture delivery and installation and storage. We make it easy for our customers so that they don’t need to engage with multiple service providers to get the job done. We have recently branched out in to residential moves as well, so that we can service all moving requirements.

What do you consider your business’s biggest success to date?

Building our workload across services from scratch, that supports multiple local families with employment, and continuing to do so through the current economic climate.

What plans do you have for the future growth or development of your business?

Our vision is to be the best moving services company in New Zealand and Australia.

We are building our foundations in Porirua and the greater Wellington region with plans to scale this out nationally. Visions are long term and aspirational, so with that in mind we hope that one day we will expand to Australia too.
